Goat Yoga......So Cool, Check Out This Instuctor Doing Just That.

An Oregon farmer announced upcoming "Goat Yoga" classes with a video of a yoga instructor performing poses with a baby goat on her back.
The video, posted to YouTube by Lainey Morse, shows a professional yoga instructor attempting to perform poses outside while a baby goat balances on her back.

The woman's yoga routine is complicated by the fact that the goat appears more interested in nibbling on the instructor's yoga pants than participating in the fitness regimen.
"The person in the video is the yoga professional that is giving Yoga classes at my farm and we're calling it Goat Yoga," the uploader wrote online. "I had her out to practice and I put the goat on her back. It was the first take so it was a little awkward for her but super adorable."

Russian Scientist Now Pose as SuperHeroes and Super-Villians By Using Chemical Elements

Russian scientists think they are superheroes. And maybe they're right. They light themselves on fire, and douse themselves with liquid nitrogen. Why? In order to inspire the younger generation and to make them feel passionate about science. "Superhero From Chemistry" is a photography project in which scientists vividly depict nature's elements without resorting to Photoshop.
The 19 photographs of each participating scientist represent a chemical element, a substance or a natural phenomenon and are accompanied by informative or humorous slogans. They remind viewers that ice is lighter than water, Argentina was named after silver, carbon is the basis of all organic matter, and rubber stretches like days from paycheck to paycheck.

Photos and the video in ArtNauka's "Superhero From Chemistry: A Social Experiment on Russian Scientists" project were placed in the public domain and have spread around the Internet. Participants come from different disciplines and include Russian physicists, engineers, a mathematician and a molecular biologist. The team also has actors and business innovation experts.
ArtNauka began in Russia five years ago when it held a small show in a Moscow shopping center. Now, the team frequently appears on national TV, at science festivals, corporate parties and team-building events. Their customers include Gazprom, Volkswagen and Audi, and they also toured China and Italy.
"Crash tests of detergents and winter shoes, a life hack for Easter eggs, cryogenic shows, molecular gastronomy – this combination of science and special effects has turned out to be extremely popular," said Nikolai Novosyolov, head of ArtNauka. "There is no other show like this in Russia or anywhere."
According to Novosyolov, "Superhero From Chemistry" is designed for millennials – fans of Marvel Comics, Deadpool and X-Men.
"Today, marketers have a much greater impact on people than real scientists," Novosyolov said. "And it's no surprise that society is afraid of, for example, artificial intelligence. We decided that we would become – through superheroes – the personification of chemistry and chemical elements for teenagers around the world. So already at a young age they will see that science is interesting and not something to be afraid of."
In "Fire From Palms."' a prop was used for the "oil" image; and for the photo of "Liquid Nitrogen" 10 liters of liquid nitrogen was poured on the model.
ArtNauka's creators rely entirely on their own genius and the talent of the photographer and make-up artists. To select the latter was very difficult; only four out of the 20 leading makeup artists in Moscow had a strong understanding of chemistry and knew how to depict it.

Iceland expected to elect 'ordinary guy' historian as next president

The presidential election in Iceland was expected to see the lowest voter turnout in decades, while historian Gudni Johannesson was expected to win easily based on the commanding lead in the polls.

A historian and sports fan with no experience in politics is likely to be elected president of Iceland Saturday, with experts suggesting voter turnout will be even lower than expected because of the Euro Cup in France.
Gudni Johannsson had a 49-point lead over his nearest competitor as Icelandic voters hit the polls Saturday, replacing President Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, who is stepping down from the post after five straight terms.

Johannsson, a 47-year-old historian and political commentator, declared his candidacy after the release of the Panama Papers leak indicated several high ranking members of the country's government were involved in offshore accounts. Included on the list was former Prime Minister Sigmundur Davio Gunnlaugsson, who resigned from the post as a result of his and wife's accounts being revealed.
Grimsson announced in January he would not seek re-election this year to the largely ceremonial post and Johannsson said friends started encouraging him to run, though he did not seriously consider it until April when the Panama Papers scandal hit.
Johannsson said he was unsure about running, but based on the "total loss of trust" he thinks most people have had in public and political institutions after the 2008 financial crash, and especially after leaders in Iceland were shown to be covering up financial impropriety, it was time to run.
"I was on TV explaining what went on from day to day, and this trickle of encouragement for me to run (for president) turned into a flood," Johannsson told The Sydney Morning Herald. "I'm not feeling it was the right moment -- talk to me in 12 years. I have a great job and my career has been going fine. It was a matter of choosing between the security of what you know and the challenge of seeking this big position in the land. I'm a sports person and I decided just to go for it."
Johannsson was expected to deliver on the large lead in the polls with an at least 10 percent of Iceland's population in France for Euro Cup 2016 and many more paying full attention to the soccer tournament.
About 65 percent voter turnout was expected for the election, which would represent a record low turnout in Iceland and continue a slide that saw about 66 percent of voters participate in the last legislative election in 2014.
Between excitement over the soccer tournament and growing dissatisfaction with leaders in the country, Johannsson has led continuously since the start of the election cycle and is expected to pull out the win.
"I am just an ordinary guy," Johannsson said. "I am a historian, an academic, a person who I hope people see like 'he's a likeable guy, I could chat with this guy over a beer or I could go camping with him and his family and it would be fun’. “This is what the Icelanders are looking for."

1.6 million Brits signed a petition for another E.U. referendum. They shouldn’t hold their breath.

Image result for brexi
Yes. It's actually happening. People in Britain are talking seriously about the possibility of another referendum.
A petition set up on Friday calling for another referendum on whether Britain should stay in the European Union has already received more than 1.6 million signatures — a level that means it must now be debated by British politicians. It was apparently so popular that the British Parliament's website, where the petition was hosted, briefly crashed.
The drive for a new referendum is coming from those who had hoped to "remain" in the E.U. Thursday's referendum was fairly close — the "leave" vote won with just 51.9 percent. And so the petition for a new referendum suggests there should be a rule that in referendums with less than 75 percent turnout (Thursday's vote was 72.2 percent), there should be another referendum unless a decision is reached by more than 60 percent of those voting.
Could this plan actually work? Might Britain actually vote again and decide to stay in the E.U.? Well, it's certainly possible. But that doesn't mean it’s not completely daft.
Why it is (kind of) possible
It would be an odd move to have a referendum immediately after a previous referendum on the same subject provided a clear outcome. But, frankly, this entire situation is odd.
Britain has only ever had three nationwide referendums. Generally, major policy decisions are decided by the country's elected officials. As many have noted, this referendum was only called in a bid by Prime Minister David Cameron to calm tensions over the E.U. within his own Conservative Party ahead of a general election. Cameron thought he could win. Obviously he was completely mistaken.
Thursday's referendum wasn't actually legally binding — Cameron could have set it up to be so (a nationwide 2011 referendum was set up to be), but he apparently decided better of it. This means that, in theory at least, the British government could completely ignore the results and do whatever it thinks is best.
Of course, doing that would anger the majority of the country who voted to leave the E.U. But a new referendum could provide some democratic justification to the decision.

The close result does help the argument somewhat. Britain's 1975 referendum on membership of the European Economic Community was decided by a 67.2 percent vote to stay in. In the 2011 vote (on whether to use the Alternative Vote electoral system) was decided by 67.9 percent of the vote. Nigel Farage, a key Brexit supporter, unwittingly provided support for this argument by saying that if "remain" won by a "52 to 48" margin, there would be "unfinished business" and an argument for another vote.
Another additional factor is the various reports of those who voted "leave" but now say they are dismayed at what has happened. Many of these accounts seem to suggest that the "leave" voter in question thought their vote would serve as a protest vote. "I didn’t think my vote was going to matter too much because I thought we were just going to 'remain,'" one man told the BBC on Friday, adding that he was "quite worried" about the effect.
Why it's completely daft
Okay. There are a few things to unpick here, so we'll go through them step by step.
  • Ignoring the clear result of a referendum is unfair. Sure, the results of Thursday's vote were close, but they were pretty conclusive. 51.9 percent is a better mandate than most governments win for a general election, for example. It would also be political suicide for Britain's government to effectively say "your vote didn't count" to half the country. And 1.6 million may want a new referendum, but 17 million already voted in one to leave.
  • You can't retroactively legislate like this. The proposal outlined in the petition would require setting up laws and then retroactively applying them to Thursday's vote. To put it simply, that's not how laws work.
  • Petitions don't mean much. Now that the petition has over 100,000 votes it will be debated by Parliament, but British members of Parliament have no imperative to act on it. Petitions get lots of signatures all the time and nothing happens: Remember the debate on whether to ban Donald Trump from Britain earlier this year?
  • "Remain" might still lose anyway. For those who supported "remain," the idea that "leave" voters are regretful voters who didn't know what they were doing is heartening. However, we only have anecdotal evidence of a few regretful pro-Brexit voters who have talked to media outlets. Until there is a vigorously conducted poll that shows otherwise, it’s fair to conclude that "leave" would win a second referendum anyway.
What could possibly happen?
That said, there is a lot of uncertainty in the air. Cameron has already said he would step down, which will trigger a leadership contest for the Conservatives. There are signs that Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of the opposition Labour Party, may also be forced to step down. Some wonder whether there could be another general election before the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Britain has not yet triggered Article 50 — the procedure for actually leaving the E.U. — and there are signs it may try to delay doing so as long as possible. If there is a general election, how and when to leave the E.U. would probably become a major issue.
Even when Article 50 is invoked, negotiations may take up to two years. Any new deal with the E.U. will have to pass Parliament. Some in Westminster are saying that it should probably be put to referendum again. If that happens, it may well be the last chance for "remain" to have their voice heard.

Magic Mike 3 can wait a little-Channing Tatum Speaks....

Channing Tatum says there are no plans for Magic Mike 3.

The 36-year-old actor revealed as much while speaking at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity on Thursday. Tatum will instead focus on the Magic Mike musical and Magic Mike Live show in Las Vegas.

"The third instalment will be the show, and I think it has to evolve past these guys," he said of the movies. "That's the next step I would like to take with the story."

"The first one was about Mike, the second one was about the guys and I think the third one is really about man and woman having a conversation about sex and themselves and who we all are," the star shared.

The Broadway show will serve as a prequel to the films and follow Mike's journey from struggling college student to stripper. Early readings of the stage production featured Derek Klena and Curt Hansen as Mike.

Magic Mike Live, meanwhile, will feature a "360-degree dance and acrobatic strip tease spectacular" inspired by Magic Mike XXL's Club Domina. The show is scheduled to open at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in March 2017.

"We want to change what male entertainment is," Tatum said when he announced the project in May. "It should be women-empowering, instead of just the guys getting naked."

Magic Mike and its sequel earned over $289 million at the box office. Tatum is slated for Kingsman: The Golden Circle with Taron Egerton and is also producing a Step Up web series for YouTube.

SAN FRANCISCO, June 21 -- A former NASA engineer in California posted a video showing his latest world-changing accomplishment: the world's largest functioning Nerf gun.

Mark Rober, a former NASA engineer who spent seven years on the Curiosity Rover project, posted a video to YouTube showing his much larger recreation of a classic Nerf pistol that shoots oversize darts distances of more than 130 yards.

Rober's gun, which is powered by a 3000 psi paintball tank, shoots darts made from pool noodles and toilet plungers.

The video shows Rober compare the effects of his creation to a normal-size Nerf pistol wielded by a friend.

"I made the world's largest Nerf gun to defend my honour," Rober wrote in the video's description.

Many seniors officials saying no to retirement

Almost two-thirds of older U.S. adults say they'll choose work over retirement after they reach age 65, a new survey shows.

"Not only are older Americans going to work longer, but four in 10 respondents are planning to change career fields in the future. These results point to significant changes in the American workforce with impacts likely felt by workers and employers," said survey author Trevor Thompson, director of the Associated Press-NORC Centre for Public Affairs Research at the University of Chicago.

The researchers interviewed just over 1,000 working adults aged 50 and older. One-quarter of them said they never plan to retire. That included 33 percent of those earning less than $50,000 a year and 20 percent of those earning $100,000 or more a year.

Sixty percent of those aged 50 to 64 plan to work past age 65, and nearly half of those 65 and older said they already work or plan to work.

Those aged 65 and older who are working put in an average of 31 hours a week on the job, the survey showed.

The more than 40 percent of respondents who spent at least 20 years working for the same employer were more excited and less anxious about retirement than those who did not stay with a single employer for as long.

Many respondents who want to remain in or re-join the workforce plan to switch either professional fields or employers in the future. Those aged 65 and older are especially likely to do so, the survey found.

A large minority of the survey participants are boosting their skills by taking job training or additional education, the survey revealed.

One-quarter of the respondents have looked for a job in the past five years, but many have had difficulties. Of these, one-third said it was so difficult that they gave up at some point during their job search, according to the researchers.

"The circumstances and future plans of older Americans must be well understood by decision-makers," Thompson said in a University of Chicago news release.

Between 2003 and 2013, the number of Americans 65 and older rose from almost 36 million to close to 45 million, and that number is expected to rise to just over 82 million over the next 25 years. The percentage of Americans aged 65 and older in the overall population will rise from 14 percent in 2013 to almost 22 percent in 2040, the researchers said.

Man Captures a python that bit him two days ago

A British man who was bitten by a python while hiking in Hong Kong returned to the same spot with a trapper to capture the 14-foot-long snake.

Karl Davies, 49, posted a video to Facebook showing him helping professional snake catcher Dave Willott capture the large python at the side of a trail in the Sai Kung district Wednesday, two days after he first encountered the snake.

Davies said he was walking his two border collies with friend Andrew Chambers when the python, which he had spotted during previous walks, made its appearance.

"I walked past the place I'd seen the snake before and it wasn't there," Davies told the South China Morning Post. "The next thing -- bang! -- The python jumped out of the bush and sank its teeth into my leg. It got me around the lower calf."

He said getting the snake, which he nicknamed Kaa-rl, to release its grip proved difficult.

"Andrew started shouting and screaming 'Get out of here, get out of here.' He gave it a couple of kicks and threw a stone at it but missed and hit me on the ankle.

I tried to [pry] the snake's jaws off my leg and punctured two fingers, and then I tried to smack it on the head with the stone that Andrew threw and that didn't do any good either.

I dragged my leg along to drag it off and then I tried to run with it to see if I could shake it off. By then the snake was starting to coil. I dragged it full length into the path and I fell down, and I saw it again trying to coil itself. As I got up, that's when it fell off."

Davies, who plays rugby for a club in Hong Kong, joked the encounter, was a great training exercise.

"It was like pulling dead weight. It should be a training regime for rugby players -- snake on the leg," he said.

Davies was released after about six hours in at Tseung Kwan O Hospital.

The snake, which has been blamed for numerous attacks on dogs in the area, was taken to the Kandoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, where it was measured at 14 feet long and weighed in at 51 pounds.

After a fatal attempt on her life, paralysed cat showed her will to live

This mom cat recently suffered the most brutal attack after she accidentally wandered into the wrong yard in Australia. The man who lived on the property allegedly grabbed the stray cat by the tail and threw her up against a trailer.

The cat was thought to be dead, so her 1-week-old kittens were collected by an animal rescue group. However, the next day the most unbelievable thing happened. The cat started dragging herself using only her front paws to the spot where she last saw her babies.

The local RSPCA picked up the mom immediately and reunited her with her kittens. Now named Princess, the cat is sadly paralyzed for life. Sawyers Gully Animal Rescue’s owner Dee Walton is going to take care of her for good, as the poor cat has very special needs. She can’t even urinate or defecate on her own.

The man responsible for this tragedy was arrested and there are plans to get Princess her own wheelchair. For now, the poor cat can take comfort in nursing her loved babies. “Princess is a fighter, she teaches me everyday not to give up,” Walton told the Dodo. “I believe those kittens gave her the will to live.”

Brave cat, awesome mum!

If we can make instant coffee why not make instant beer

SodaStream has been selling home carbonation machines that let you turn
tap water into soda for over two and a half decades, and now it looks all
set to enter the beer market, as well. The company has apparently come
up with an instant beer concentrate that works with their soda machines,
allowing anyone to turn water into beer at the press of a button.

The new Beer Bar kit turns SodaStream machines into microbreweries,
enabling you to create crafted beer in seconds by simply adding a unique
“Blondie” concentrate. The resulting brew has 4.5% alcohol content and
allegedly has a “smooth authentic taste and a hop-filled aroma.” According
to a company statement, one liter of Blondie yields three liters of cold
brewski.

“We are excited to launch a brand dedicated to serving the global growing
trend of home crafted beer,” Chief Executive Officer of SodaStream Daniel
Birnbaum said. “Our core carbonation technology and distribution
infrastructure provide a great platform for us to extend our business into
this emerging category, and we choose to do so with a dedicated beer
brand.”
But instant beer has a somewhat cheap sound to it, so to get the market’s
reaction to Beer Bar before an expensive worldwide launch, SodaStream is
first testing it in Germany and Switzerland. It is expected to roll out in
other markets later this year and in early 2017.
